What is a snail mail club?
A snail mail club is a subscription where you get real physical mail delivered to your door every month. The Five Foot Mail Club is my monthly subscription where each envelope comes with a handwritten letter from me, an original watercolor print, a photo postcard, and a 6-page mini zine. Everything is made by hand and loosely tied to a monthly theme. It's just something real and personal, made with a lot of heart.
When will I get my mail?
Envelopes go out every third week of the month. If you're in the US you can expect your letter within 1-2 weeks of the send date. International members should allow about 2-4 weeks depending on where you are.
What happens if I didn't receive my letter?
First, give it a few extra days! Sometimes mail just needs a little more time to find its way to you. If you're in the US and still haven't received anything after 3 weeks from the send date, reach out and I'll get a replacement out to you. International members, please wait the full 4 weeks before reaching out since international shipping can vary a lot. You can contact me at fivefootmailclub@gmail.com
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! The Five Foot Mail Club ships worldwide. US subscriptions are $10/month and international subscriptions are $12/month to help cover the extra postage.
What if I moved?
Just update your shipping address in your account before the 5th of the month and you're good to go. If you're having trouble updating it online you can also reach out to fivefootmailclub@gmail.com and I'll take care of it for you. And don't worry — if your envelope has already been sent to your old address I'll still get a new one out to you. You're not missing out on your mail! 💌
When do I need to subscribe for the next month's send?
The cutoff each month is the 10th. Subscribe by the 10th and you'll be included in that month's send. Subscribe after the 10th and you'll kick off with the following month. Easy!
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Of course! You can pause or cancel anytime through your account, no questions asked. If you run into any trouble just reach out and I'll help you sort it out personally.
I'd like to gift a subscription to a friend.
That is so thoughtful! Gift subscriptions are available in the shop in 6-month and 12-month options. Just enter your friend's shipping address at checkout and they'll start receiving their monthly envelope. Honestly one of the best gifts you can give. 💌
Why is it called Five Foot Mail Club?
Five Foot is my creative nickname and a little nod to my height (yes, I am exactly five feet tall!) and the name behind my illustration brand @fivefootdesigns. The Mail Club felt like a natural extension of that little world. Something handmade, personal, and sent with love.
